Beyond The Box Consultants

As a member of the Cultural Impact Team, along with four other young residents of St Raphaels estate, I was tasked with working to research the needs of the community on the estate, to help co-design a series of workshops, training sessions and community cohesion projects, ahead of the launch of a new community incubator fund set up by Karakusevic Carson Architects.

Using quantitative and qualitative methods, we were able to gather data, interacting and engaging with members of the estate in order to address their needs. During this process I visited Metroland Cultures, the Brent based arts charity to see what they have on offer and how they work to deliver creative and cultural events for the community of Brent, in order to further inform how the fund can be used.

During this time I also decided to create an illustration of St Raphael’s convenience store owner, Tony, as a legacy of the project.
